The club was set up in 2004 by a small group of like minded individuals and now has nearly 20 members.
We fly mostly fuel powered airplanes from humble trainers to aerobatic to large scale replicas.
There are also a few helicopters that hover around from time to time.
Please be patient while we develop the site to best promote our sport in Sligo.

We try to fly every weekend and some summer evenings (weather permitting)
at the clubs own flying site near Collooney - check out the "Where We Fly" page for details and directions.
We welcome anyone to join and advise them to come see us first to get a feel for the sport.
We also welcome anyone to come and have a look at us fly.
However in the interest of your safety you must ask the members present before entering the flying field.
If you are interested in this sport then we would be delighted to
start you in the right direction. Aircraft, radio, engine and fuel choices all have an impact on your success.
